Escrow deals can be funded and paid out in digital assets or in traditional currency. For the digital-asset path, you choose the asset and network when you create a deal, and each asset settles only on its supported networks.
This page covers the mechanics of moving money. If you are here to understand the escrow service itself — milestones, delivery, and dispute mediation — start with how it works. For the wider settlement picture, including what FidesVault is not, see crypto settlement.

A deal only moves to Funded after enough network confirmations. Larger or unusual deals can require extra depth.
| Network | Confirmation rule | Typical network cost | Speed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solana (SPL) | Finalized status | ~$0.001 | Near-instant |
| BNB Chain (BEP-20) | 15 confirmations | $0.05 – $0.30 | Fast |
| TRON (TRC-20) | 20 confirmations | $0.50 – $1.50 | Fast |
| Ethereum (ERC-20) | 12 confirmations | $2 – $10 | Moderate |
Network costs are estimates that vary with congestion. They are passed through at cost — FidesVault does not mark them up. See the fee schedule for the full breakdown.
Network cost is passed through, so the cheaper the network, the more the seller keeps.
Solana (SPL)
Fractions of a cent in network cost and near-instant settlement — ideal for most deals.
BNB Chain · TRON
Very low network cost with broad wallet support. A safe default for everyday deals.
Ethereum (ERC-20)
The most battle-tested network. Costs run higher, so best reserved for larger deals.
AI contract scanner & deal checker
We are building an AI-powered scanner that extracts key terms, obligations, and dates, flags risky or non-standard clauses, and checks deals against company policy and playbooks — re-checked every time a document is uploaded, edited, or re-submitted, with human review for consequential decisions.
Agree the terms, fund escrow, and release on delivery. Settlement details are confirmed at funding time.
